Individual Therapy

Next Steps Psychological Services offers individual therapy in Fairfax, Virginia.

Therapy is a space to better understand what feels stuck, overwhelming, or hard to make sense of.

You might be:

  • feeling disconnected from others

  • struggling with motivation or direction

  • navigating identity or relationships

  • feeling overwhelmed by the world or your place in it

Therapy here is:

  • collaborative, not hierarchical

  • action-oriented, not just reflective

  • grounded in your real life

The goal is not just to understand yourself, but to figure out what meaningful next steps might look like.

Approach

You are not just an individual - you are a person in context.

That means we may explore:

  • Relationships

  • Work environments

  • Social and cultural influences

  • How you relate to the world around you

Connection and community can be part of this work, but only in ways that feel relevant and possible for you.
